Ms. Robberson and Ms. Schroedter’s combined 35 years of legal experience contribute to Robberson Schroedter LLP’s practice areas, which include commercial litigation, business bankruptcy, cross-border business litigation and bankruptcy appeals. Before making the move to Robberson Schroedter LLP, both Ms. Robberson and Ms. Schroedter were partners at Higgs Fletcher & Mack, LLP.
Mary R. Robberson
Founding Partner
Mary Robberson is co-founder of the boutique business law firm, Robberson Schroedter LLP.
A seasoned trial lawyer with 25 years of experience, Ms. Robberson’s practice consists primarily of Commercial Business Litigation, which includes a Cross-Border business litigation niche focus (Spanish-speaking countries).
Ms. Robberson’s experience and expertise spans from jurisdictional and forum related-issues, through trial and judgment enforcement against domestic and foreign defendants, as well as alter ego and successor liability matters. She has litigated and tried breach of contract, negligence, fraud, alter ego, and all other business tort related disputes.
Ms. Robberson’s reputation, courtroom skills and civility both in and outside of the courtroom have earned her recognition as a San Diego Metro “Top Attorneys for 2020.”
Ms. Robberson is now taking her experience and in-depth knowledge of business litigation and adding Mediation Services to her practice. As a bi-cultural, bi-lingual (English/Spanish) lawyer, Ms. Robberson brings diversity, knowledge and expertise to the world of Mediation.
Prior to founding Robberson Schroedter LLP, Ms. Robberson was a partner with one of the oldest San Diego law firms, Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP, where she was hired upon graduating law school and practiced for 24 years.

Maggie E. Schroedter
Founding Partner
Maggie E. Schroedter is co-founder of the boutique business law firm, Robberson Schroedter LLP. Ms. Schroedter’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and business bankruptcy, with an emphasis on creditor’s rights. Her commercial litigation practice includes representation of clients in complex business disputes, including breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation and other business torts. She also represents creditors, individual business owners and their companies, and receivers in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings and assists companies with out-of-court restructurings and liquidations. Ms. Schroedter also represents creditors in probate litigation to protect their rights during estate administration.
Further, Ms. Schroedter handles complex bankruptcy appeals. Her in-depth knowledge of insolvency law, combined with unique and substantial experience in the area of bankruptcy appellate work, provides her clients – both individuals and attorneys – with knowledgeable and effective representation.
Ms. Schroedter is Past President of Lawyers Club of San Diego, the largest speciality bar association in San Diego. The mission of Lawyers Club is to advance the status of women in the law and in society.
Prior to founding Robberson Schroedter LLP, Ms. Schroedter was a partner at Higgs Fletcher & Mack, LLP, where she practiced for 11 years.
