Christine M. Fitzgerald
Attorney

Christine M. Fitzgerald is an attorney at the boutique business litigation law firm, Robberson Schroedter LLP. Ms. Fitzgerald represents clients in complex commercial litigation and business bankruptcy, with an emphasis on creditor’s rights. Her commercial litigation practice includes representation of clients in business disputes, including breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, and other business torts. Ms. Fitzgerald also represents creditors, financial institutions, and lenders in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and business debtors with pre-insolvency planning, Chapter 11, and out-of-court restructurings.

Prior to joining Robberson Schroedter LLP, Ms. Fitzgerald served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California, where she diligently represented the federal government in a broad range of cases, including personal injury, employment discrimination, and bankruptcy.

Ms. Fitzgerald previously worked at a national law firm representing employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour and representative actions. Ms. Fitzgerald also counseled and advised employers on personnel issues such as hiring, discipline, termination, and leaves of absence.

Ms. Fitzgerald’s experience includes clerking for the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California, and the Honorable Mark D. Houle, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, also for the Central District of California.
